ROLE Director PROJECT TYPE Commercial TEAM 2 Executive Producers 1 Production Manager 1 Art Director 1 Character Designer 1 Storyboard Artist 1 Background Designer 1 Background Painter 8 Animator & VFX Artists 2 Compositors SOFTWARE Adobe Photoshop Adobe After Effects McDonald’s Singapore partnered with the Ministry of Social and Family Development and Families for Life to launch a family mental wellness campaign focused on supporting children’s emotional well-being. I was tasked to lead Studio Mune to produce a heartfelt animated short film for its launch. The film highlights the vital role parents play during early childhood, particularly when children begin experiencing stress, and was promoted across McDonald’s Singapore’s social media platforms. My role on this project was Director, collaborating closely with Studio Munē to bring the production to life. I led the creative vision from concept to completion, shaping the story, curating visual references and mood boards, and overseeing the entire production process, including storyboarding, character design, concept art, and animation. These GIFs showcase the breakdown of key parts of the animation. I worked closely with Andrey Pratama, the art director of Studio Munē, who skilfully translated my vision into this beautiful animation.
